Why confidence and agency matter

Confidence is not a personality trait; it’s a skill.
Agency is a mindset built through consistent reflection and mentoring.

Together, they help young people:

  • Feel secure in who they are

  • Managing conflict

  • Communicate clearly

  • Take initiative

  • Build healthy friendships

Without these foundations, many young people feel lost, overstressed, or disconnected.

What affects a young person’s confidence in London? +

Young people in London face intense academic pressure, fast-moving social environments, constant digital comparison, and identity challenges. These factors can overwhelm confidence and emotional wellbeing. Having a structured space where they feel heard, understood, and supported makes a significant difference.
